About
The Lanai is a private online platform serving verified residents of the Ocean Club community in Key Biscayne, Florida. Operated by Accelerate Advisors LLC, it helps residents connect with neighbors, coordinate assistance requests, receive relevant community information, and manage their participation in the network.
The Lanai is independent of the Ocean Club Community Association, condominium associations, and property management. It is also separate from our election work.
Messaging
The Lanai sends text messages only to people who agree to receive them. Residents agree through the separate, unchecked, optional checkbox on its registration page at https://oceanclub.us/join, which reads: “I agree to receive SMS text messages from The Lanai, operated by Accelerate Advisors LLC, about my resident account, membership application, Ocean Angels assistance requests, and informational community news and event updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.” The texts cover your resident account and membership application, Ocean Angels assistance requests, and informational community news and event updates. Stewards, the residents who review membership applications, agree separately through an unchecked checkbox on their own account page, which reads: ‘I agree to receive SMS text messages from The Lanai, operated by Accelerate Advisors LLC, notifying me when a resident is waiting for membership review. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.’ They then receive a text when a resident is waiting for membership review.
